Who We Are
We are a group of people who take an enthusiastic interest in Mental Health. Our main focus is on the facilities and resources available to help sufferers from Mental Health Difficulties in Ayrshire to get back on their feet and extend their skills, abilities and opportunities. We are mostly people who have some personal experience in the Mental Health field: - users, carers and staff of services.

What We Do
We meet monthly - see our diary for the dates of the next meetings. We are proud to have earned the respect of the providers of services locally. We attend and have input in several health and social work committees especially those that plan future developments. We can raise any topics we wish with our providers and be confident of a thought out response. We are aware of making small changes the need for which we are proud to say we brought to the attention of the Authorities. We do interest ourselves in less than perfect services of which we become aware and will draw such matters to the attention of the providers.

What We Don’t Do
We do not pursue individual specific complaints. These should be fed into the excellent complaint procedure set up by providers. We do not ourselves provide therapy or formalised support though you will find friendship and a welcome if you come along. We are not linked to any political or religious group. We find our group makes us feel effective and useful.
